Miss Virginia Ann Borkenhagen, age 92, of Hazlehurst, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at her home.

Miss Borkenhagen was born September 11, 1928 in Cordele Georgia: she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Albert J. Borkenhagen and Lelia Mae Dawson Borkenhagen, a brother, Charles Borkenhagen and a sister, Albertina McLeod. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was retired from ERO after 38 years as an office assistant.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Libby & Pete Turner of Hazlehurst and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 30 2020 at the Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Brad Waters and Dr. Keith McLeod officiating.
