Wade Walters, age 49, of Denton, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Hospice Atlanta. Mr. Walters was born January 31, 1968 in Jeff Davis County. He was Finance Manager/Salesman for Crosby of Coffee and Prince Ford of Douglas and a member of Union Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Baldwin. Survivors include his wife Christy Carter Walters of Denton; daughter, Ashlyn Walters of Denton; sons, Blake Walters of Denton, Caine Bagley of Denton and Caleb Bagley of Denton; parents, Brad and Shirley Walters of Hazlehurst; sisters, Karen Cravey (Ricky), Lera Smith (Wayne), Jackie Rentz (Glynn), all of Hazlehurst, Gloria Galich (Jack) of Brooklet and Vicki Jones (Tangent) of Albany N.Y.; brother, Carl Walters (Ann) of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Kenyon Fennell and Rev. Merle Webster officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Walters will lie in state one hour prior to service.
