Wilbur Parlor, age 64, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Parlor was born June 22, 1953 in Jeff Davis County to the late Hilton Parlor and the late Imelda Harrelson Anderson. He was employed with Atlantic Coast Carrier and was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lydia McDaniel Parlor of Hazlehurst; sons, Crandall Parlor (Creasy) of Hazlehurst and Jason Parlor (April) of Griffin; six grandsons, Pierce, Brantley, Peyton, Carter, Asher and Calum; sister, Kathleen Tarrant (Ronnie) of Alma; brothers, Wayne Parlor, Glenn Parlor, Carl Lynn Parlor (Tamara); several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 4:00pm at Oak View Baptist Church with Rev. David Barber and Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Parlor will lie in state one hour prior to service. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements for Wilbur Parlor, age 64, of Hazlehurst.
