Mr. Wiley Wayne Cannon, age 52, of Hazlehurst passed away Friday morning after a short illness. Mr. Cannon, the son of Bill and Betty Summerlin, was a native of Tuscon, Arizona and had resided in Jeff Davis County for several years. He was a tattoo artist and playwright. Survivors include his son Duncan Cannon, the mother of Duncan, Terri Cannon of Hazlehurst; Fiancée, Patricia Ann McNeal of Hazlehurst; sisters, Rhonda Touchton of Claxton, Debbie Cannon of Miami, and Becky Summerlin Porsga of Hazlehurst; brothers, Richard Owen, Jr. of Vinton, LA., and Phillip Cannon of Palm Beach, FL.; Grandchildren, Kage Gordon, Butterfly Becker, Afton Girtman, Morgan Leggett, Wyatt Girtman, and Bella Leggett. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 2-4 at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Brazzell, and Mr. Duncan Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home of Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Wiley Wayne Cannon, age 52, of Hazlehurst.
