Cliff Carroll, age 81, of Jesup died Sunday, December 07, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Jesup. Mr. Carroll was born August 14, 1933 to the late Joel Thomas Carroll and the late Nannie Mae Strickland Carroll in Brooks County. He was employed by Chaparral Boats Inc. and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his Brothers, Joel Thomas Carroll Jr. and Bobby Raymond Carroll, granddaughter, Cassidy LeAnne Clark and Grandson, Elijah Faulkner. Survivors include his wife, Opal Swain Carroll of Jesup; Four Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Rhonda Carroll Smith of Nashville, Melanie Carroll of Clarkesville, Betty Faulkner (Linton) Stephens of Hazlehurst and Diane Faulkner (Ron) Clark of N. Augusta SC; One Son, Steve Faulkner of Jesup; Two Brothers, John Quillian (Zerelda) Carroll of Nashville and Wayne Howard (Hazel) Carroll of Quitman; Eight Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren also survived. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:30-3:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Higginbotham, Rev. Chad Clark and Rev. Linton Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family may be contacted at the home of Betty and Linton Stephens, 49 Bell Street.
