Ryne Johns, age 28, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, June 1, 2013. Mr. Johns was born May 30, 1985 in Jeff Davis County. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Afghanistan and attended the Hazlehurst Church of God. Survivors include daughters, Kailee Johns of Hazlehurst, Jaiden Johns of Hazlehurst, and Sienna Johns of Lancaster, California; Mother, Rhonda Hester Gay of Griffin and Father and Step-Mother, Bruce and Donna Johns of Hazlehurst; Three Sisters, Amber Nicole Wood of Hazlehurst, Meagann Gay and Haley Gay both of Griffin; Four Brothers, Brook Johns and Tyler Johns both of Vidalia, Drew Johns of Hazlehurst and Chad Gay of Hazlehurst. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Hazlehurst Church of God at 6:00pm with Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
