Bill Music, age 69, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Music was born April 18, 1946 in Bacon County to the late William Loyd Music Sr. and the late Lydia Music. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, was a retired Supervisor with Hazlehurst Mills and member of Oakland Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his sister, Paulene Music Smith and brother, Billy Hampton Music. Survivors include his wife, Linda Jones Music of Hazlehurst; Daughter, Rebecca Lynn Music of Andalusia; Sons Melvin Lloyd Music of Monroe and Matthew Walsh of Hazlehurst; Sisters, Carlene Music Smith and Verlene Music Miller both of Hazlehurst; Seven Grandchildren, Katelyn Elizabeth Crum, Sadie Karoline Crum, Audrey Madison Talley, Hailey Nicole Music, William Michael Music, Zachary Thomas Music, Mattie Elizabeth Walsh; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00am at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett and Rev. Billy Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Music will lie in state at the church one hour prior to service.
