Mr. Willie "Ed" Hendrix, 78, of Hazlehurst passed away October 24, 2022. Mr. Hendrix was born in Claxton, GA on April 29, 1944, to the late Clyde and Blanche Hendrix.

Mr. Hendrix was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. Mr. Hendrix enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family and spending time outdoors. He also loved when he was able to help at church events! He was a veteran in the United States Marines and served as Sergeant.

Mr. Hendrix is preceded in death by: Wife; Barbara Wood Hendrix, One brother; Sammy Hendrix, Sister; Anne Hendrix.

Mr. Hendrix is survived by: Son: Brian Hendrix (Sarah), Niece: Debra Hewett, Sisters: Iola Conley (Jr) And Gloria Hendrix, One Grandchild: Elissa Hendrix.

A private memorial service for Mr. Hendrix will be held at a later date.
