Mrs. Wilma Mancil Hursey, age 99, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Lakeview Retirement Home in Baxley. Mrs. Hursey, was born June 24, 1918 in Berrien County to the late William Mancil and the late Vermell Bowen Hursey. She was a Homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.B. Hursey, Jr., sisters, Velma Smith and Willa Mae Murphy, brothers, Willard Mancil and Willis Mancil. Survivors include nephews and nieces; Dora Mae Higgenbotham of Virginia, Cathern Dickens of Virginia, Edward Murphy of Hazlehurst, Wayne Murphy of Hazlehurst; Ronnie Murphy of Jacksonville, Fl., Brenda Delagarde of Waycross, Dr. Gary Mancil of Saulsberry, NC, and Dr. Stan Smith of Baxley; sister-in-law, Hazel Mancil of Saulsberry NC. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017, in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and Funeral will follow at 2:00pm with Rev.Bill Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Wilma Mancil Hursey, age 99, of Hazlehurst.
