Yvonne Graham Jones, age 89, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Appling Health Care in Baxley. Mrs. Jones was born September 22, 1928 to John Wesley Graham and Frances Hudson Graham, and was a lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Hazlehurst First Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by husband, Billy A. Jones; brother, Eschol Graham; sisters, Luvicy Clements, and Myrtice Hancock; granddaughter, Katy Courson. Survivors include daughters, Patia Dixon, and Teresa Brewer; sons, Michael Jones, and John Jones; sisters, Johnnie Graham, and Oveda Runnells; brother, Oliver Graham; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, November 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday morning, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Niles Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Palms Memorial Gardens. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Yvonne Graham Jones, age 89, of Hazlehurst.
