Mrs. Yvonne Bernice Lee, age 88, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Lumber City Nursing Home. Mrs. Lee was born September 07, 1927 in Michigan to the late Earl Joseph Waffle and the late Lila Grames Waffle. She was a retired Naval Commissary Clerk, dedicated Pastors Wife and a member of Bible Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Walter W. Lee, son, James Arnold Lee, brothers, Richard Waffle, Russell Waffle and Dennis Waffle. Survivors include Daughter and Son-in-Law, Barbara J. and Jerry Thomas of Costa Rica; Sons and Daughters-in-law, David E. and Kathy Lee of Littleton Colorado and John D. and Danielle Lee of Hazlehurst; sister, Linda Sharkey of MI; several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews also survived. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-9:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 11:00am at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Manford Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Lee will lie in state one hour prior to service. Family may be contacted at the residence, 45 Satilla Cove Road, Hazlehurst. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Jeff Davis Gideon's, P.O. Box 1656, Hazlehurst, Ga.
