Aaron Lewis Dukes Jr.

Aaron Dukes Jr. (Dukesie), age 42, of Hazlehurst passed away on July 8, 2024. Dukesie absolutely loved his two boys, and he enjoyed fishing, riding around on the lawn mower, and his dogs.

He was born on January 2, 1982, and is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, I.L. and Ethel Dukes; his aunt Marie Taylor; and his cousins, James White and Charlie Dukes.

He is survived by his children, Tyler Dukes (Jessica) and Bryan Dukes; his father Aaron Dukes Sr. (Tammy); his uncle Silas Dukes (Sheila); uncle Charles Dukes (Sandra); uncle Bobby Dukes (Pam); his mother Patsy Johns; grandfather Bill Johns; brother Brandon Lamb (PeeWee); aunt April Johns; uncle Jeff Johns; and uncle Bruce Johns; special friend Marlana Dukes.

Visitation along with a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

 The family will begin receiving visitors on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 30 Dukes Drive in Hazlehurst.
