Annita Martinez

Ms. Annita Martinez, age 56, of Hazlehurst, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

She was born on November 19, 1969, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Alfonso Martinez, Sr. And Adela Diaz Martinez. She was a resident of Hazlehurst for over 38 years. She like to sew and spend time watching and sharing Facebook and TikTok videos with those she loved. She was a quiet, private person, but very loving, and enjoyed being at home with friends and family. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Alfonso Martinez, Jr.

Annita is survived by her sons, Luis Arreguin (Sarah) of McRae, and Ismael Arreguin (Terese) of Hazlehurst; her daughter, Margarita Arreguin of Hazlehurst; her sisters, Guadalupe Beltran (Alejandro), Janie Martinez (Noe San Martin), and Julia Medina (Tony), all of Glenwood, Sarah Ramirez (Elias) of Florida, and Teresa Martinez (Marcelino) of Baxley; her grandchildren, Angelica Arreguin, Alejandro Arreguin, Angel Huerta, Annalisa Huerta, Eliseo Arreguin, Adamaris Arreguin, Hana Ponce, Julianna Ponce, Perla Ponce, and Alexsandra Ponce; her great-grandchildren, Kamilla Salinas, Isaac Ponce, Izaria Ponce, Nialani Ponce, Trevion Gillis, and Essence Gillis; and several special nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.
