Ms. Betty Jo Kight Faulk, age 87, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, April 18, 2022 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Ms. Faulk was born December 21, 1934 in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Kight and Donnie Clifton Kight, husband, Harold Norman Faulk and son “Hal” Harold Norman Faulk Jr., brothers, Charles, George, John “Buddy” and Tunny, sisters Gertrude and Edel.
She was a Supervisor with J & S Sportswear, homemaker and a member of Union Springs Baptist Church.
She loved her flowers, she was an amazing Lady, great caregiver and grandmother to her grand and great grandchildren. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and loving on them.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Faulk Stapleton of Hazlehurst, son, “Johnny” John Edward Faulk (Teresa) of Snipesville; sisters, Dianne, Donna, and Mary; grandchildren, Jennifer Faulk, John Faulk, Justin Jowers, Cody Jowers and Gary Stapleton; great-grandchildren, Madison, Jase, Rhett, Jax, Jimma, Wyatt, Riley, Ansley, Mattie, Kallee, Kameron, Jagger and Riggs.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Union Springs Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Merle Webster officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Justin Jowers, Cody Jowers, John Faulk, Gary Stapleton, Greg Kight and Jim Jarrard.
