Bobbie Jean (O'Conner) Edge

Ms. Bobbie Jean Edge, age 74, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, August 12, 2021,

at South East Georgia Health System in Brunswick.

Ms. Edge was born January 22, 1947 in Montgomery County.

She is preceded in death by her parents Syders O’Conner and Ethel Davis O’Conner, daughter, Teresa Ann Coleman, brother, Ray O’Conner, sister, Eliose Carter, two grandchildren, John Wesley Edge and "little" Rick Bryant. She was retired from Papa’s Cabin and was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Appling County. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Mike Merritt of Hazlehurst; son, Curtis Wesley Edge of Hazlehurst; sisters, Wanda (Greg) Yawn, Pamela Eubanks, Janice O’Conner and Eleanor Campbell all of Hazlehurst; brother, Michael O'Conner ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. James Jordan, Rev. David Harrell and Rev. Daniel R. Gasser officiating.

Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Montgomery County,
