Bobby Ray Kirkland

Mr. Bobby Ray Kirkland, age 57, of McRae, died Sunday, July 04, 2021 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Kirkland was born in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Darwin Kirkland, son, Jason Lee Kirkland and sister, Deborah Davis. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed with Beasley Timber Products but on his days off he enjoyed fishing and riding the golf cart with his pups.

Survivors include his life partner, Kimberly Brewer of McRae; sons, Matthew Kirkland (Melissa) of St. Augustine FL and Dylan Kirkland of Hazlehurst; daughter, Amanda Washam (Justin) of Hazlehurst; mother, Mrs. Beverly Kirkland of Hazlehurst; brothers, Donnie Kirkland of Statesboro and Gary Kirkland (Angie) of McRae; grandchildren, Eagan Washam, David Ezra Kirkland, Aaron, Wyatt, Kaiden, Bentley, Sryinity and Addie Allred; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral graveside services will be held Thursday, July 08, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery at 11:00am with Rev. Ashley Tyree officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Brently Harris, Charles Heath, Willie Brewer, Justin Harrelson, Ryan Kirkland and Noel Garcia.
