Bobby Warren Tucker

Mr. Bobby Warren Tucker, age 81, of Hazlehurst, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Bobby was born December 21, 1943, in Jeff Davis County to the late George Tucker and Mertice Creamer Tucker.

He loved to fish and was a good cook. He enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with his friends and family. He had an impeccable work ethic, and not a lazy bone in his body.

Mr. Bobby was a Character, so handsome, and always looked like he had just came out of a powder box.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest while enjoying every minute of it. If you were honored to be in his presence, he made you feel so welcome and special. He was always smiling, laughing, telling little jokes. But when it came to his family, he was s about them. He was surely a family man, loved his children dearly, and especially his grands and great grands. He will surely be missed.   

He is preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Jeanette Williams Tucker, son, Tony Tucker,  sister, Mary Ann Yawn and brothers, Larry Tucker and George Tucker.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Wayne Herndon of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Pam Branch of McRae; brother, Rodney Gerald Tuck of Hazlehurst; four grandchildren, Bradley (Macey) Branch, Kyle (Nikki) Herndon, Balie Herndon and Tristan Herndon; three great-grandchildren, Sophia James Branch, Tucker Herndon and Callie Mae Herndon; special friend, Cathy Floyd of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Hulett officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

The honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Rabun Beasley and all of the Krystal and Huddle House Crew.

Gerald Tucker, Lee Tucker, Scottie Griffin, Dallas Solomon, Steve Williams and Stevie Williams will serve as active pallbearers.
