Brenda Jean Johns Taylor

Mrs. Brenda Jean Johns Taylor, age 56, of Hazlehurst passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Mrs. Taylor Was born February 7, 1967, in Jeff Davis County. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Dean Creamer Johns, her sisters, Linda Smith, and Debbie Johns, and two previous husbands, John Daniel Miles and Glenn Taylor. She was a homemaker and member of the Hazlehurst Church of Prophecy. She enjoyed watching games shows and the cooking shows, while she munched on potato chips. She was a great cook, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially those grandbabies.

Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Paul Taylor of Hazlehurst; two sons, William Justin Miles-Miller (Andrew) of South Carolina and William Jeremy Miles of Hazlehurst; daughter, Angel Miles-Foster (Donald) of Hazlehurst; Father, William “Bill” Austin Johns of Hazlehurst; two brothers, Bruce Johns and Jeff Johns both of Hazlehurst; two sisters, April Saunders and Patsy Johns both of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren, Mason Foster, Jenna Foster, Donnie Grace Foster, Austin Miles, Andrew Miles, Cody Foster and Trinity Foster; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Manning and Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service time.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

Justin Miles-Miller, Donald Foster, Jeff Johns, Bruce Johns, Eli Saunders and Anthony Johns will serve as active pall bearers.
