Christopher Grant Anderson

Mr. Christopher Grant Anderson, age 43, of Hazlehurst, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at Candler County Hospital in Metter.

Mr. Anderson was born December 12, 1980, in Appling County.           .

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Homer Lamar Anderson,

 Mrs. Grace Evelyn Hesters Anderson and brother, Richard Anderson.

Chris loved life, his family and he enjoyed having a good time with his family. Whenever in a crowd he was a professional animator and he enjoyed so much entertaining and making his family laugh. He loved to watch the old Westerns especially JOHN WAYNE and he loved listening to Dolly Parton.  Chris will certainly be missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his three sisters and brothers-in-law; Shirley and Joel Poe, Elaine and Doug Braswell and Melissa Wilson all of Hazlehurst; brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Angie Anderson of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 29, 2024, at 4:00pm at the Graham Church of God with Rev. Don Dixon officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the Mt Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Randy Carter, Wendall Floyd, Gary Braswell and Justin Anderson will serve as active pallbearers.
