Christy Virginia (Sellers) Harper

Mrs. Christy (Sellers) Harper, age 60, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, September 08, 2021, at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Harper was born September 05, 1961 in Telfair County.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Chares Clifton Sellers and Claudia Virginia Grindle Sellers,

She was a great homemaker; she loved cooking, fishing, hunting, and care giving.

She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and was of the Holiness Faith. She lived her life as a faithful servant to the Lord, as well as a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ricky Harper of Hazlehurst; son, Jacob Harold Harper (Dana) of Hazlehurst; daughters, Jessica Marie Harper of Hazlehurst, Jodi Harper Kight (Adam) of Hazlehurst and Jannie Elizabeth Harper of Hazlehurst; brothers, David Sellers (Wanda) of Hazlehurst, Jack Sellers (Karen) of North Carolina and Chuck Sellers (Dee) of Hazlehurst; sister, Sabrina Sellers Varnadoe (Norman) of Lumber City; grandchildren, Caiden Smith, Caleb Smith, Mia Conaway, Abby Harper, Greyson Cox, Dallas Cox, Christian Kight and Logen Branch; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00am in the Oakview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Lilliot officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Josh Smith, Josh Lilliot, Caiden Smith, Caleb Smith, Ronnie Jackson and Todd Mosley.
