Mr. Danny Wise, age 61, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, October 09, 2022, at
Optim Medical Center in Sylvania.
Mr. Wise was born September 16, 1961, in Coffee County.
He is preceded in death by his parents Linton “Booger” Wise and Corrine Davis Wise, and Nephew, Chris Miller, maternal grandparents, Jim and Limmie Davis and paternal grandparents, Effie Lou Wise Stokes and Dan Wise.
Danny was a lifelong resident of Denton and was well-known in the community. He was a true outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing. He loved his family dearly and was especially close with his brother Bobby, who said that Danny, was a good person.
Survivors include his brother, Bobby Wise of Denton; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Victor Yawn of Hazlehurst; nephew, Zack (Kayla) Yawn and great-nieces, Olivia Yawn and Kris Yawn.
Visitation and Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Macedonia Church of God in Denton, visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the funeral will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Van McCall officiating.
Interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Blake Wright, Darrell Wright, Kevin Wise, Van Wooten, Andy Powell, and Darrell Hutto.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
