David Quitman Brewer

Mr. David Quitman Brewer, age 71, of Lumber City, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Brewer was born May 25, 1951, in Telfair County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Randolph Leroy Brewer and Essie Azalee, sister, Joyce Holt, and brothers, Gus Brewer, Frank J. Brewer, and Edwin Leroy Brewer.

He was a retired Construction worker and a member of Lumber City Baptist Church. Mr. Brewer was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the country.

Survivors include his two sons, William Jesse Heath of Tenn. and Justin Lee Brewer (Chelsi) of Statesboro; brother, Bo Brewer of Lumber City; sisters, Betty Varnadoe of lumber City and Brenda Varnadoe of Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 29, 2022, at the Lumber City Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stanley Steverson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brewer Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Darrick Brewer, Chris Brewer, Michael Brewer and Donnie Hamilton.
