Deborah Elaine Grogan

Ms. Deborah Elaine Grogan, age 68, of Hazlehurst passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 in Bessemer Alabama.

Ms. Grogan was born on September 08, 1955 in Roanoke Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud Holton and Hope Smith Holton and son, Christopher Grogan.

She enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time with her family.

She was a registered Nurse, and she loved her career, her family said nursing was her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina N. Lightsey of Hazlehurst; son-in-law, Michael Lightsey of Hazlehurst; grandson, Luke Wood of Hazlehurst, best friend, Connie Dominy of Alabama; and longtime friend, Charles Colson of Hazlehurst.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 01, 2023 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00am and the funeral service will follow at 12:00 with Rev. Thomas Colter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Palms Memorial Garden.

Active pallbearers will be Mac Carter, Tommy Holton, Danny Holton, Justin Smith, James Arnold and Tim Taylor.
