Ms. Delane McManus Deen, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
Ms. Deen was born October 01, 1948 in Jeff Davis County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John McManus, Doris Merritt McManus, her husband, Eddie Gene Deen, son, Greg Deen and daughter, Debbie McManus, brother, David McManus and sisters, Betty Burkett, Rosie Griffin, Lynette Merritt, Brenda Spivey and Judy Dykes. She enjoyed watching Days of our Lives, drinking her coffee, gardening and growing beautiful flowers. She always had a smile every time you saw her and she lived life to the fullest. She loved her family, children and grandchildren and church family at Northgate Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Angie and Jerry Dykes of Hazlehurst and Rhonda Deen of Baxley; son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Tammy Deen of Baxley; brother, James McManus; two sisters, Eloise Clark and Patricia Dykes; grandkids, Candice Deen, Jennifer Deen, Kyle and Mandi Krafczyk, Katie (Colby) Dykes, Holly Dykes, and Breat McLoon; great-grandkids, Lake Krafczyk, Kaleb Deen, Hayleigh Brooke Dykes, Kylei Dykes, Dalton McLoon, Brailey McLoon, Kyson Dykes, Asher Krafczyk, Kase Krafczyk and Liam Deen.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral services will follow at 11:00am with Rev. Glen Stinson and Rev. Jinker Horton officiating.
Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of Northgate Baptist Church, all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers Colby Dykes, Brent McLoon, Wade Dykes, Josh Dykes and Kyle Krafczyk.
