Donald Edward Quarterman

Mr. Don Quarterman, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, March 22, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Quarterman was born August 23, 1946 in Jeff Davis      County to the late William Henry Quarterman and the late Estelle Griner Quarterman. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict and a Purple Heart recipient, was a retired Procurement Forester with Georgia Pine Timber, and a member of Philadelphia Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife JoAnne Miller Quarterman and siblings, Mary Lee Campbell and Billy Quarterman.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Tim Roberson of Hazlehurst; Dawn and Kevin Jump of      Cochran; sisters, JoAnn McNeal of Hazlehurst, Jackie Moeykens of Hazlehurst, Martha Sue Whatley of Griffin and Charlotte Taylor of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Anna Jordan, Mikayla Stanton, Lee (Emily) Jump, John-Christopher Jump and Joe Jump; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 11:00am at Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Allen Hartsfield officiating.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Don Quarterman, age 73, of Hazlehurst.
