Dorothy Kathleen (Massen) Beall

Ms. Dorothy “Kathy” Beall, age 95 of Hazlehurst, passed away Saturday January 03, 2026, at her residence.

Ms. Kathy was born and raised in Bedford, England, where she met and married the love of her life, Benny Beall. She was a devoted homemaker, who traveled to numerous locations while her husband served in the United States Air Force. During his developments, Kathy faithfully took on the role of both mother and father, often for months at a time.

Kathy deeply loved her family and was a proud mother and grandmother, always eager to share the good things her children and grandchildren were doing. She enjoyed reading, sewing and watching all things sports.

Ms. Kathy was a member of Elizabeth Baptist church, and she will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Ms. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Kate Massen, her husband of 66 years, Bennie Beall, her daughter, Diane Stull and her great-great-grandson Tate Harper.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Leasie Beall of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Randolph Taylor of Dublin; and her sister Alma of Bedford England; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at 10:00AM in Chapel of Wainright Parlor.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 06, 2026, at 10:30AM in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with her great-grandson, Rev. Curt Harper and Rev. Keith Yawn officiating.

Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 3:00PM in Glennville Georgia.

Honorary pallbearers will be her church family, Elizabeth Baptist Church, and (Regency Hospice, Jennifer Griffin, Patty Breedlove and Christa Taylor).

Binky Denning, Christian Wills, Ron Griffin, Wayne Stull, Joe Howell and Justin Barber will serve as active pallbearers.

Musical selections will be rendered by Mr. E.H. Claxton.
