Elaine (Heath) Graham

Mrs. Elaine Heath Graham, age 79, of Hazlehurst, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Graham was born November 09, 1946, in Toombs County. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst and attended Brewton-Parker College in her younger years. She devoted many years of her professional life to Hazlehurst Mills, where she worked as an accountant for 28 years, and later retired from Southeastern Bank after 12 years of dedicated service.

Mrs. Graham was a fabulous cook and an avid reader, known for her sharp memory and lifelong love of learning—even teaching herself different languages. She enjoyed watching Cooking with Brenda Gantt and treasured simple pleasures such as trips to the beach, sitting on the pier, and eating at Barbara Jean’s. Elaine was a kind and gentle spirit—soft-spoken, always wearing a warm smile for everyone she met. Above all, her greatest joys in life were her love for the Lord and her cherished grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor De Benion Heath and Marjorie Evelyn Duncan Heath and her son Terry Sellers.

The survivors of her family include her husband, Mr. Leroy Graham of Hazlehurst; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and David Rewis of Hazlehurst and Melissa and Timmy Davis of West Green; nine grandchildren, Dr. Brandon (Bethany) Sellers of Hazlehurst, Laramie (Ashley) Sellers of Hazlehurst, Heather (Brandon) Merritt of McRae, Hannah (Jason) Odum of Douglas, Gabriel Rewis of Douglas, Taylor (Landon) Rohde of West Green, Amber (Taylor) Blodgett of Baxley, Hunter (Taylor) Gibson of Statesboro and Tyler Graham of Nichols; nine great-grandchildren, Carson, Mailey, Paisley, Lucas, Kasen, Aiden, Theodora, Jasper and Blaine.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2:00PM  at First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst with Rev. Brad Waters and Rev. Bob Powell officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.

Interment will follow in the Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Alvin Merritt officiating.  

Her grandsons, Brandon Sellers, Laramie Sellers, Gabriel Rewis, Hunter Gibson, Tyler Graham, and Carson Merritt will serve as active pallbearers.

Her Sunday School class, the Ladies of Faith 1, will serve as honorary pallbearers.      

Musical selections will be rendered by her family and Mr. Hal Cox.

Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home and the Graham Family are in charge of arrangements.
