Mrs. Elizabeth Partin, age 71, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, January 16, 2023, at her residence.
Ms. Partin was born on July 26, 1951 in Valdosta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Harnage, Verdie Alma Powell Harnage, husband, Cecil C. Partin, and son, Greg Partin, sister, Thelma Edmonson and brother, Vernon Harnage.
She was a Homemaker and a member of Liberty Community Church.
She loved her children, and grandchildren, enjoyed cooking for them (they said she was a great cook) spending time with them. Her favorite things were to sit on the front porch enjoying the outdoors and going to her friend (Nell Stinson) home, and taking care of her fur baby, Chloe.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Partin (Arthur Sellers) of Hazlehurst, her sons, Scottie Partin of Hazlehurst and Allen Partin (Angie) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Glenda (Drew) Petty of Naylor, Louise (Steve) Whaley of Valdosta, Teresa (J.W.) Hall of Lakeland, and Gloria (Claude) Bennett of Valdosta; brother, David (Ruth) Harnage of Valdosta; daughter-in-law, Montine Partin of Hazlehurst; grandkids, Lance Partin, Joshua Partin, Almeria Covington, Hannah Sellers, Shawn Sellers, Ansley Partin, Sabrina Harrell and Brandon Harrell; great-grandchild, ALlie Partin; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023, in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Charles Carter and Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Community Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers will be Brent Simpson, Darrell Mincey, Scottie Partin, Shawn Sellers, Lance Partin, and Marvin Brantley.
