Eloise (Herndon) Lynn

Mrs. Eloise Herndon Lynn, age 82, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Hazlehurst Court Care.

Mrs. Lynn was born May 01, 1938 in Jeff Davis County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Herndon and Ruby Rollins Herndon and her husband, Howard Lynn.  Ms. Lynn loved her family, her church and was often recognized for her hard work ethic.  She was formerly employed as a seamstress with Douglas and Harper and was a member of Liberty Community Church of God. For over 30 years, she taught Adult Sunday School.  She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Felecia Gail and Bobby McEachin of Hazlehurst; two sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Bobbie Jo Lynn of Hazlehurst and Stevie Dale Lynn of Hazlehurst; sisters, Ruby Olline Kramer (Tom) of Mt Vernon, Eleanor Lightsey (Roger) of Baxley and Rev. Virginia Herrington (Johnny) of Baxley; brother, Rev. Prentice Herndon of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren, Craig Lytle, Sierra Lewis, Nathan McEachin, Christopher Eunice, Kenedy Lynn, Kealey Rigby and Bradee Lynn.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, April 02, 2021 at 11:00am at Palms Memorial Garden with Rev. Virginia Herrington and Rev. Thomas Colter officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be staff members of Community Hospice, Hazlehurst Court Care, and all family and friends in attendance.

Active pallbearers will be Charlie Leggett, Christopher Eunice, Craig Lytle, Nathan McEachin, Keith Johnson and Freddie Colter.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Lynn family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to wear a mask and follow the social distancing set by our local health district and the CDC.
