Mr. Fulgencio Perez Mar, age 61 of Denton, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.
He was born in Jalpan de Serra, Queretaro, Mexico on January 01, 1964, and he was preceded in death by his mother, Perfecta Mar Chavez.
He was a very private person. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed relaxing in the solitude of his home. He believed in working hard and his family said he had a keen sense of humor, and he was employed with Beasley Timber.
Other members of his family include his wife, Ines Correo of Denton; his son and daughter-in-law, David Perez and Maria Isabel Martinez of Graham; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Perez and Fidel Balderas of Hazlehurst; father, Silvestre Perez Trejo of Mexico; sisters, Santa Ana Perez (Benito Castro) of Mexico DF, Juliana Perez (Armando Balderas) of Mexico DF, Juana Perez (Arturo Cerritos) of Mexico DF, Felicitas Perez (Macedonio Rubio) of Florida; 5 grandchildren, David Perez Jr., Camila Balderas Perez, Kiara Perez, Elias Perez, and Jimena Balderas Perez; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, visitation will begin at 12:30pm and the funeral service will follow at 3:00pm.
Interment will follow at Mr. Perez Mar residence, 820 Snipesville Road, Denton.
Erasto Chavez, Leopoldo Gonzalez, Sergio Maldonado, Snipesville Community and Beasley employees will serve as Honorary pallbearers.
David Perez, Fidel Balderas, Mario Rubio and Macedonio Rubio will serve as active pallbearers.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home and the Perez Mar Family will be in charge of all arrangements.
