George Morris Clifton

Mr. George Morris Clifton, age 70, of Hazlehurst, died at his residence, Sunday, December 25, 2022.

Mr. Clifton was born on October 07, 1952, in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George Washington Clifton and Frankie Jeanette Morris Clifton.

He retired from Husquvarna and attended the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.

 He was truly an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a family man, loved his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them, he will truly be missed as a loving, Husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife; Bonnie Snelgrove Clifton of Hazlehurst;

four daughters, Lisa (Carey) McDaniel of Hahaira, Sabrina (Wesley) Cleveland of Hazlehurst, Melinda (Rev. Ryan) Clements of Hazlehurst, and Tabitha (Kevin) Mathis of Hazlehurst; son, Phillip (Kasey) Rentz of Hazlehurst; sister, Gail Durden of Hazlehurst; ten grandchildren and several cousins also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 12:00 pm at Palms Memorial Garden with Rev. Ryan Clements officiating.
