Mr. George Creamer, age 75, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his residence under the care of Bethany Hospice.
Mr. Creamer was born January 17, 1946 in Jeff Davis County. He is preceded in death by his parents George Washington Creamer Sr., Mary Winnie Bryant Creamer, brothers, Cecil Creamer, Willis Creamer, George Creamer Jr., Sam Creamer, sisters, Myrtice Tucker and Edna Moody.
Mr. Creamer was an Insurance Agent for Liberty National Insurance Company for several years and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Creamer always had a strong work ethic, but when he wasn’t working his favorite pastime was fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dearl D. and Karen Creamer of Uvalda; special friend, Marilyn Spoon of Hazlehurst; brother, Herman Creamer (Velma) of Florida; sisters, Lucille Flowers (Billy) of North Carolina, Clarine Cannon of Hazlehurst and Louise Sellers of Hazlehurst; two grandchildren, Emma Creamer and Kaleb Creamer; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:30pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor with Rev. John Griffin and Rev. Walter DeLoach officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hosea Hill, Raburn Beasley, Gary Coleman, Bobby Tucker, Terry Darley, David Thompson, George Tucker, Bennie Ussery, Dane Ussery, Roy Roberson and Steve Roberson.
Active pallbearers will be Randy Cannon, Carl Lynn Parlor, Luke Selph, Warren Coleman, Jimmy Toler and Anthony Flowers.
