George Carl Tucker

Mr. George Carl Tucker, age 66, of Hazlehurst, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

Mr. Tucker was born to the late Mr. George Warren Tucker and Myrtice Rose Creamer Tucker in Broxton, GA. He was a General Contractor by trade and a hard worker, a life coach, and a best friend. Mr. Tucker was full of life and meant so much to a lot of people. He was full of passion and diligent work to make sure the job was done right. He was a voice of reason and full of knowledge willing to share. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Larry Tucker and sister, Mary Ann Tucker Yawn.

Mr. Tucker is survived by his son Lee Tucker (Hannah Milikin) of Hazlehurst, brothers, Bobby Tucker, and Rodney Tucker of Hazlehurst and longtime companion, Janet Kea.

Services for Mr. Tucker will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Southside Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at Hazlehurst Memorial. The family will receive friends at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rev. Robert Wigley will officiate.  

Keith Culpeppers, Darrell Hughes, Tommy Allen, Rob Petty, John Lowery, and Rickey Wommack will serve as pall bearers.
