Hal Faulk

Mr. Harold Norman “Hal” Faulk, Jr., age 63, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness.

Mr. Faulk was born January 16, 1957 in Hazlehurst, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his father, Harold Norman Faulk, Sr. and his grandparents, Norman Wesley “Buddy” Faulk, Alice Pauline Creech Faulk, John Earnest Kight and Donnie Clifton Kight. He was a member of Union Springs Baptist Church and was a lifelong farmer. Hal was known to be a true friend to all those around him and was always willing to help anyone in need.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Faulk, his mother, Betty Kight Faulk, four grandchildren, Madison Jones, Jase Jones, Rhett Pickren and Anderson Floyd, a sister, Tammy Faulk Stapleton all of Hazlehurst, a brother, Johnny Faulk (Teresa) of Denton, his significant other, Carla Griffin of Denton, former step-son, Kameron Floyd of Denton, nephews, John Faulk, Justin Jowers, Cody Jowers and Gary Stapleton, several other nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Skeeter Davis Faulk.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 4, 2021 at Union Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Merle Webster and Rev. David Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Faulk, Justin Jowers, Cody Jowers, Gary Stapleton, Joe Colson and Kendall Jones.

The family asks that everyone that has been impacted by Hal’s life to serve as honorary pallbearers

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and the attendance policy, the service will be broadcast on FM 87.9. The Faulk family and Wainright Parlor Funeral Home also respectfully ask all in attendance to wear a mask and follow the social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
