Hank Wilcox Obituary

Mr. Hank Wilcox, Sr., age 60, of Denton, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his residence.

Hank was born on February 9, 1965, in Baxley to the late Henry Luther and Ellie Powell Wilcox. He was a member of Macedonia Church of God. Hank was a quiet and direct man. In his younger days he loved to hunt, and in his later years he enjoyed target shooting and working with ammo. He will be sorely missed by his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie L. Wilcox.

Hank’s loved ones include his wife, Sheila Wilcox of Denton; his son, J.R. Wilcox (Jade) of South Carolina; his daughter, Kayla Wolf (Eric) of Tennessee; his brother, Burch Wilcox (Terri) of Snipesville; his sisters, Marilyn Spoon, Melcene Hatton, and Vicky Varnadore, all of Denton; and his grandchildren, Ava McCulloch, Drake McCulloch, Beau Wolf, and Ella Wolf.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Macedonia Church of God.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2:30 P.M. at Macedonia Church of God with Rev. Van McCall officiating.
