He then owned Bass Automotive in Reidsville, Georgia. He was a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God of Prophecy, where we served as a member of the finance committee. Of all the positions he ever held, his most notable were being a soldier of the cross, Daddy, and Papa. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed working in his yard and shop, and telling "tales" to his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Ronnie Bass.
