Herman L. Shuman

Mr. Herman Lee Shuman, age 83, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, October 02, 2020 in Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Mr. Shuman was born December 05, 1936 in Brantley County. He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills, Member of Mason Lodge #283 of Hazlehurst, Mason Lodge #199 of Lumber City, Alee Temple/Scottish Rite, Shriners, and Jolly Friends with Southside Baptist Church. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Jurelle Sanders Shuman, brothers, Jimmy Rogers Shuman and William A. Shuman Jr., sisters, Wauline Shuman Jackson and Mary Jeanette Shuman Bush.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lois Golden Shuman of Hazlehurst; three brothers, Jackson Monroe (Marie) Shuman of Rincon, Clinton Bell (Brenda) Shuman of Pooler and Donald Wayne (Billie) Shuman of Brunswick; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside Services with Masonic Rites will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00am in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Yawn and Mr. Duke Campbell officiating.
