James Chancelor Harper

Mr. James Chancelor Harper, age 30, of Hazlehurst, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 22nd, 2022.

Chance was born on March 6th, 1991 in Macon. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Kathleen Ann Harrison, Grandfather, Pickett Harrison, Grandmother, Naythine Harper, Uncles, Terry Harper, Clint Harper and Aunt Christy Harper.

He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He had a passion for all things outdoors. He enjoyed nothing better than the thrill of a good hunt or spending the day at the river reeling in the perfect catch with his best friends. He also loved spending time with his family and playing with his nephew, Triston.

Chance will be most remembered for his love of family and friends, generous and caring heart and his beautiful, infectious smile.

Survivors include his Father, Darrell Harper of Hazlehurst, Sisters, Kayla Harper Sellers of South Carolina and Taylor Harper of Hazlehurst; Nephew, Triston Sellers, Grandmother, Mary Harrison of Hazlehurst, Uncle Lance Harrison and Aunt Teresa Harrison Coleman (Warren) of Hazlehurst, Uncle Ricky Harper of Hazlehurst and Aunt Rebecca Harper Dennig (Tom) of Tallahassee, FL; several cousins, great Aunts and great Uncles also survive.

There will be a celebration of Life held in his memory, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 3:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the William Syndrome Foundation in honor of his loving Nephew, Triston.
