Mr. James Timmy Rewis, age 61, of Hazlehurst died Wednesday, May 04, 2022 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick.
Mr. Rewis was born August 12, 1960 in Bacon County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenberry Rewis and Willie Mae Music Rewis, and wife, Linda Cain Rewis. He was a native of Jeff Davis County, Truck Driver and Heavy Equipment Operator. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, eating out, and helping others, most of all spending time with his family. He was a dedicated loving father.
Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Nicole Brannon (C.C.) of Baxley; son, Chris (Kristi) Bohannon of Hazlehurst; brother, Jimmy Rewis (Montene) of Baxley; sisters, Faye Crews (Stephen) of Brunswick, Tammy Rewis (Stevie) of Alma and Mary Bohannon (David) of Alma; two grandchildren, Jax Brannon of Baxley and Christopher Bohannon of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 06, 2022 from 10:00-10:40 at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 06, 2022 at Satilla Free Will Baptist Church at 11:00am with Rev. Bobby Colter officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Andy Edge, Chris Bohannon, Matt Hyers and Stevie Taylor.
