Jamie Lavon Nipper

Mr. Jamie Lavon (Tiny) Nipper, age 49, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, at his residence, November 28, 2022.

Mr. Nipper was born November 20, 1973, in Coffee County and

is preceded in death by his father, Terry Thomas.

He was truly an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, raising, and taking care of his chickens, turkeys, and his goats.

Survivors include his wife, Destiny Nicole Bohannon Nipper of Hazlehurst; sons, Jevin Nipper of Hazlehurst and Axel Nipper of Hazlehurst; daughters, Kayla Nipper, Brianna Nipper, Baily Taylor, and Ainsly Taylor all of Hazlehurst; mother, Diane Nipper Thomas of Hazlehurst; brother, Buck Thomas of Hazlehurst; sister, Jessie Whatley of Hazlehurst; one grandson, Trey Day of Hazlehurst.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 07, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Glen Selph officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryre Thomas, Jack Whatley, and Mason Whatley.

Active pallbearers will be Corey Googe, Donnie Alday, Blake Wright, Cody Bratcher, Brent Merritt, Matt Riedlinger, Brian Strickland, and Brent McLoon.

The Nipper Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
