Jason Bryan Mills

Mr. Jason B. Mills, age 40, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, November 03, 2022, at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Jason was born April 01, 1982 in Dothan AL.

Jason was a 2001 Honor Graduate of Jeff Davis High School and was voted to receive the 2002 Citizen of the Year award presented by the Hazlehurst Jeff Davis County Chamber of Commerce.

He volunteered at the Jeff Davis Primary School with a program designed to help young children learn to read. Jason was an avid sports fan. He could tell you anything about any baseball, football, or basketball team, and accurately predict who would make it to the playoffs.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Hazlehurst.

Survivors include his parents, Bryan and Leslie Mills of Hazlehurst; aunt, Kathleen Mills Ray (Edward) and uncle, Vaughn Pearson.

Visitation and Funeral services will be held Monday, November 07, 2022, at the First Methodist Church of Hazlehurst, visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Hartsfield officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Rick Hall, Chad Morrison, Stan Rush, Ross Rush, Ryan Rush, and Brent McBride.
