Jehu Rodney Davis

Mr. Jehu Rodney Davis, age 44, of Hazlehurst, passed away at his residence, Thursday, February 17, 2022.

Mr. Davis was born November 08, 1977 in Jeff Davis County and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jehu and Mattie Herrington.

Mr. Davis was formerly a Truck Driver for Ussery Timber, but his passion was, drawing, fishing, crafting, music, and colleting colognes.  He loved his family dearly, spending time with them and especially his two grandsons, Liam and Jaxson.  He was a member of Consolation Baptist Church and also attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria Taylor Davis of Hazlehurst; sons, Ashton Taylor of Hazlehurst and Dylan Colter of Hazlehurst; daughters, Haley Herrington (Tommy) of Baxley, Madison Pitts (Jake) of Baxley, Rayne Davis of Hazlehurst and Annalynn Taylor of Hazlehurst; mother, Helen Herrington Davis of Baxley; brother, Randy McCollum of Hazlehurst; sisters, Darlene Davis Miller (Keith) of Eatonton and Elaine Allford of Eatonton; special uncle, Donald Herrington (Vickie) of Baxley; two grandsons, Liam Jehu Pitts and Jaxson Sloan Pitts of Baxley; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating.
