Jerry Donald Toumbleston

Mr. Jerry Donald Toumbleston, age 78, passed away early Thursday morning April, 15, 2021.

Mr. Toumbleston was born April 20, 1942 in Lumber City, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Wade Hampton Toumbleston and Velma Johnson Toumbleston. He was formerly employed by K-Mart and enjoyed gardening and collecting coins.

He is survived by two sons, Wade (Kristen) Toumbleston of McDonough and Stacy (Sissy) Toumbleston of Griffin, a daughter, Kim (Danny) Bowden of McDonough, a brother, Stanley Toumbleston of Snipesville, a sister, Valeria Herndon of Hazlehurst, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the Chapel of Wainright Parlor with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lumber City. Pastor Dustin Toumbleston will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until funeral hour at the chapel.
