Johnnie Geraldine Floyd

Johnnie Geraldine Floyd, 85, of Wauchula, Florida, passed away at her home on November 6, 2023. Geraldine, as her friends knew her, was born May 10, 1938, to Fred and Addis (Wages) Rowell. 

Geraldine worked hard all her life to help raise her kids. She worked for Mancini's Orange Company, Nu Hope and retired in 2000. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents; Fred and Addis Rowell, sister; Eunice Bohannon, brother; Jimmy Rowell and her ex-husband; Bobby Floyd, son in law Tim Cowart.

She is survived by her children Cindy (Glynn) McLean of Hazlehurst, Ga, Ricky Floyd of Wauchula, Florida, Greg (Debbie) Floyd of Zolfo Springs, Florida and daughter Sylina Cowart, grandchildren; Jeffrey and Justin McLean of Hazlehurst, Georgia, Samantha (TJ) Bergens of Winter Springs, Florida, Victoria and Lexie Floyd of Cleveland, Ohio, Garrett Floyd of Zolfo Springs, and Timothy (Kristian) Cowart of Wauchula, Florida; five greatgrandchildren; Timothy Jr, Maddie, Kircie and Lexi Cowart and the love of her life Skylar Bergens (10 months).

Funeral Services and burial will be held at Oakland Baptist Church on November 11, 2023 beginning at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Royce Hulette with officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
