Johnny Coleman Obituary

Mr. Johnny Carroll Coleman, age 63, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, February 27, 2021 unexpectedly in an accident.

 

Mr. Coleman was born March 03, 1957in Bacon County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Leve Coleman and Vertice Onelia Woodard Coleman, his infant son, Joseph Devin Coleman, sister, Linda Coleman Carson, niece, Rhonda Sue Coleman, and  niece, Rachel Nicole Manning. Mr. Coleman was a skilled carpenter. He didn’t have a lot of hobbies, because working hard, staying busy, and helping other people was his hobby.  He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include his siblings, E.L. and Doris Coleman, Billy and Christine Coleman, Albert and Lurlene Coleman, Lera and Wayne Bennett, Feral and Wayne Wilcox, Milton and Gayle Coleman, Elaine and Ernie Manning; brother-in-law, Bruce Carson; fiance, Donna Foskey;  several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

Graveside funeral services will be held, Tuesday, March 02, 2021 at 3:00pm at Zoar Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Williamson and Rev. John Nunes officiating.

 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Coleman family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to wear a mask and follow the social distancing set by our local health district and the CDC.
