Johnny Ervin Tompkins

Mr. Johnny Ervin Tompkins, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Hazlehurst Court Care.

Mr. Tompkins was born June 02, 1949, in Telfair County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Preston Tompkins and Annie Margaret Renew Tompkins, and his brothers, Steven Tompkins and Billy Tompkins. He retired from Industrial Air and attended Southside Baptist Church, and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his stepmother, Grace Wood of Denton; brother, Ricky Tompkins of Perry; several nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
