Joseph Adam Taylor

Joseph Adam Taylor age 48, of Hazlehurst, passed away at his residence on November 6, 2023.

Mr. Taylor is the son of Terry Dan Taylor and the late Dorothy Vahl Taylor. He was the project manager for Diversified Fabrications and served as a Marine for four years. He enjoyed many things in life and was an outdoorsman. He served for the local sheriff’s department for 10 years. Some of his favorite things to do include hunting and fishing, going to baseball games, and being very involved with his kids. Joe was a big brother, the oldest of six kids, and a true friend to many. He traveled and had seen much of the world. He was fearless and always ready to stick up for people but most of all he was a proud daddy. Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Vahl Taylor.

He is survived by daughter, Abbi Lynn Taylor, son Joseph Brett Taylor, brother, Daniel Robert Taylor (Mandi) all of Hazlehurst, sisters, Deborah Taylor Rowland (Shawn), Victoria Taylor Davis of Hazlehurst, Barbara Taylor Smith (Brad) of Pooler, Terri Diane Taylor of Hazlehurst, nieces and nephews, Carsynn, Graci, Zoie and Kross Taylor, Miles and Kerrington Rowland, Ashton, Annalynn and Rayne Davis, Izzy and Paxton Smith, Maclay and Grey Taylor.

Matt Rowell, Jonathan Yawn, Paul Wood, Eric Crumpton, Justin Sanders, and Cole Yawn will serve as pall bearers. All in attendance will be honorary pall bearers.

Services will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at Southside Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Liberty Community Church Cemetery. Rev. Johnny Taylor, Mr. Daniel Robert Taylor and Abbi Lynn Taylor will officiate.
