Mr. Juan Carlos Galvan-Ramos, age 45, of Hazlehurst, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center in Macon.
He was born on November 2, 1980, in Chiapas, Mexico, and has lived in Hazlehurst for the past 30 years. Juan was a Christian by faith and a devoted husband, loving father, and proud family man. He cherished his large family and was always there for them, as well as for friends and anyone in need, never hesitating to lend a helping hand. Even in passing, he continued to give to others through the selfless gift of organ donation. He was known for his strength, kind heart, and his ability to smile and remain positive, no matter what he may have been facing behind the scenes. He had a deep love for life and found joy in the simple things—especially Mexican food, with tacos being his favorite. He also loved his Mustang and going to the gym.
Juan is preceded in death by his niece, Stefanie Corres.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Marisol Galvan of Hazlehurst; his sons, Heath, Maximillion, and Israel Galvan, all of Hazlehurst; his daughters, Yasmine Rios and Belen Galvan, both of Hazlehurst; his parents, Rafael Galvan and Maria Trujillo Galvan; his brothers, Fernando Galvan Trujillo of Buffalo, NY, Rafael Galvan of Douglas, Agustin Galvan of Ft. Collins, CO, and Jesus Galvan of Hazlehurst; his sisters, Teresa Galvan Ruiz of Chiapas, Mexico, Guadalupe Galvan Espinoza of Ft. Collins, CO, Carmela Almazan of Guerrero, Mexico, Adriana Galvan Castro of Ft. Collins, CO, Maria Galvan of Chiapas, Mexico, Mariaelena Corres of Hazlehurst, and Sandra Jimenez of Ft. Collins, CO, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 6:30 P.M. in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rafael Galvan officiating.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home and the Galvan family are in charge of arrangements.
