Julian Jasper Black

Mr. Julian Jasper Black, age 75, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at his home in Hazlehurst, Georgia. Mr. Black was born August 24, 1949, to Jasper and Ruby Black in Louisville, Ga. He was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in the Roper Community. He was a devoted husband and father; he enjoyed watching TV and caring for his dog “Fancy”. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Black served in the U.S. Army as a Spec 4 tank mechanic. He also worked for Headstrom in Hazlehurst as a sewing machine mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Ruby Black; and brothers William Black, Samson Black, and Buddy Black all of Wadley, Ga.

He is survived by his wife Anna Faye Black; son, Jonathan (Brittany) Black of Hazlehurst; brother, Roy (Elaine) Black of Swainsboro; sister, Marion Black; grandchildren, Login Black and Willow Black.
