Ms. Kathern Miller, age 83, of Denton, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.
Ms. Miller was a lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Windell Carroll Miller and son-in-law, Thomas Lowell Sapp.
Survivors include her son, Archie (Natalie) Miller of Denton; three daughters, Joyce Miller of Denton, Sheryl Sapp of Denton and Hope (John) Brunner of Denton; six grandchildren, Windell (Kassie) Sapp, Thomas Asher (Kayci) Sapp, John Carroll (Riley) Brunner, Kathy Brunner, Anna Miller and Rhett Miller; great-grandchildren, Saylor Grace Sapp and Thomas Lane Sapp.
A visitation will be held Friday evening from 5:00-7:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church at 11:00am with John Carroll Brunner and Rev. Eddis Kirkland officiating.
Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Archie Miller, Thomas Asher Sapp, Windell Sapp, John Brunner, Rhett Miller, and Rev. Niles Dixon will serve as active pallbearers.
